Thanks for reconfirming, Peter!

Best is to just download it from the Qt https://www.qt.io/download and

I don't find Qt's download options very straightforward. I'm unsure of
what's included in the installer available from
https://www.qt.io/download-qt-installer (only Qt or also dev tools).

But I'll give the previously mentioned 3rd party Qt Designer installer a
try.

Anita

Hi Anita,

Qt Designer is not part of the package, since it is a developer tool. Best
is to just download it from the Qt https://www.qt.io/download and install.
Should be straightforward.

Kind regards,
Peter

Thanks for the quick feedback, Tim!
That sounds sufficient for my needs.

1) I dont think the Lutra packages bundle in QtDesigner (I searched the app
folder for it but dont see it)
2) I tested the bundle from the link you provided and it loads / runs fine

Note that the bundle you are pointing students to won’t have the QGIS designer
plugins set up and I am not sure if / how to get the QGIS native widgets to
show in designer. Otherwise I guess it is going to work fine.
