scusa se ripeto, ma il problema delle linee è forse risolto, è quello
dei punti che richiede la definizione di una policy; non puoi chiedere
lumi a chi l'ha prodotto?
io proverò a guardare ancora se magari intuisco qualche logica
sottostante, ma, come puoi intuire, è un metodo abbastanza poco
scientifico :-) :-)

il fatto è proprio che ho uno shape da agiornare che aveva già i campi
compilati e ora mi trovo ad aggiungere nuovi elementi sia lineari che
puntuali , di cui oltre a tanti altri attributi ci sono questi due logsta e
logend che devo compilare utilizzando la stessa logica, per questo motivo
alcuni campi erano vuoti.
Se facciamo l'esempio di una rete per l'illuminazione, la sequenza logica
sarebbe si parte da un punto (es:cassetta)  che ha logsta vuoto (NULL) e
logend (100), prosegue una linea che avrà logsta (100) e logend (200), a cui
si attacca un punto (pozzetto) che avrà logsta (200) e logend (300), da cui
magari partiranno n linee che avranno tutte logsta (300) e n diversi logend,
le quali finiranno in n punti che prenderanno come logsta i vari logend
ricevuti dalle linee.
Ora però non riesco a trovare un metodo per popolare i campi vuoti degli
elementi nuovi creati.

Era in risposta alla tua frase d'esordio: "Esiste una procedura per rendere
portable la attuale 2.14 LTR?"

Non ce n'è bisogno, proprio perchè Qualcuno (con la Q maiuscola, fidati) lo
ha già fatto per te, al link elvetico suddetto.

Se non ti funziona, è al 99% colpa del tuo firewall: prova su altro pc da
altra Lan, e goditi la 2.14 Portable.

Hello,

For remind, i'm working on Windows 10 64 bits,mapinfo new version Pro 16.0,
QGIS 2.16.3.Following  to my previous message, I succeed in resolving my
first problem regarding the error message. The Peter 's procedure allows
indeed to no longer have an error message during the execution of the
command.I remind you the following post (giving the soution) :

 However, now, when i rerun the same command but the plugin does not still
seem to work. No task is done. I let the process run all the night. And the
status stays always on 
"Opening Mapinfo ... Exporting style table" .
 No qml file has been generated. It's strange because i managed to use this
plugin in march 2015 last year (with a previous mapinfo version) ...
According to you, the reason of the problems could be from updates realised
beteween previous version and last new mapinfo v.16?
Is it possible for someone to try a quick test ? I have already post a

Hi Grant,

Probably my fault, I arranged a new ssl certificate for *.qgis.org but
did not put it on the qgis server(s) yet... so current certificate is
not valid anymore. Will do this asap...
