Re: [Qgis-user] How to create one new string-value from many other string-values?

2020-09-24 Thread stadt-koeln-rutha
hi there !

Thanks a lot for your answeres.

The "aggregate" - function is working just fine! I think I may have solved
the
sorting challange with the following:

/array_sort(array("Txt"), "let_order")/

My letters are the content of the column "Txt" and the "let_order" column
indicates the order of my letters by numbers.

Thanks again to all of you! Wish you the best!

Hi Martin,
in alternative to the working solution proposed by Bas, you could remove
";C:\Program Files\RStudio\bin" from the PATH string in the file
qgis-bin-g7.env (for QGIS 3.14) which is in your %OSGEO4W_ROOT%\bin folder.

Sebastian,

how did you know that I used the OSGEO installer and installed RStudio

In fact, that was it! I would never come up with the idea looking for
"rbatch breakes QGIS/Qt" to solve the problem I mentioned.

Thanks a lot.

Re: [QGIS-it-user] Surrogato di rasmover

2020-09-24 Thread Marco Spaziani
Grazie ancora

Hi Jan,

There are many possible approaches to plugin testing, one of the most
interesting IMO is to use the testing docker which allows you to run
the tests inside a real QGIS instance and not a mocked one.

You can find examples of this setup in
https://github.com/inasafe/inasafe/blob/develop/.travis.yml and there
is some documentation in
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/tree/master/.docker#running-unit-tests-inside-qgis

Hope this helps.

[Qgis-user] How do people unit test plugin code?

2020-09-24 Thread Ian Turton
I was toying with refactoring my plugin code the other day, but I thought I
would add some unit tests using pytest before I started to make sure I
didn't break anything. But when I try something like:

def test_convertGridRef():
 QgsExpression.registerFunction(convertGridRef)
 e = QgsExpression('convertGridRef("SE2720")')
 assert e.evaluate(None) == 'POINT (427000 42)'

e.evaluate returns None - when it should either return a point or an
exception

Does anyone have some good plugin unit test examples I can take a look at?

Thanks

Ian
