Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot erase a polygon
Thank you for the feedback. Indeed it was an annotation and I was able to delete it thanks to your help. That might shed some light onwhy it's there and how to remove it.You don't have any print layouts or anything active? If you don't have any luck, and the project is not confidential, itcould be useful to share it so we can try it for ourselves. You cansave a copy of the project for this, and then delete all the layersfrom the copy so the only thing in the project is the polygon. You mayeven find as you do this the polygon disappears when you delete acertain layer which might give some hints about where it's coming from.Cheers,Adam.QGIS-User mailing listQGIS-User@lists.osgeo.orgList info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-userUnsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user ___ QGIS-User mailing list QGIS-User@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

Re: [Qgis-user] Cannot erase a polygon
Is it possible you drew the polygon as an Annotation object instead of an object in your vector layer? Easy enough to do, and they don’t appear in the layers menu. How can I erase the polygon? Can you zoom in on the polygon or is it fixed? If you can zoom in then it looks like a QGIS bug, but if the polygon is fixed and you cannot zoom in on it then it looks like a bug in your graphics card drivers. Have you tried to close and re-open the project to see if that gets rid of it?
