A lpk is actually just a 7zip file renamed with a different extension. If you open the lpk in 7zip you'll see a .lyr file with the styling information together with a .gdb dataset containing the actual layer data. The .gdb will open fine in QGIS, but you'd need the licensed SLYR plugin in order to get the original .lyr styling to apply. Re: [Qgis-user] Convert LYR 2 SHP
To my knowledge, lyr files are definitions for data sources, styles, and other layer configuration information. They do not contain any actual data unless forming part of a layer package (lpk). The shp or shape file is the actual underlying data so there is no way to convert or extract it from a lyr. If you have a layer package you want to convert or extract data from, I'm not actually sure of what FOSS tooling supports it at all. North Road offer the slyr tools, but I see on the website that lpk support was planned, so I'm not sure whether or not it has been implemented at this time https://north-road.com/slyr/ On Tue, 07 Sep 2021, 21:37 Allan López, wrote: > Dear All, > > please help me on how to convert LYR 3 SHP in or outside of Qgis 3.6 > > Best, > > Allan López > ___ > Qgis-user mailing list > Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org > List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user > Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user > ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
