I think all programs show the spurious outline on the Q40/60, but almost certainly QD would show it. Surely the outline will not depend on the program being moved? Marcel I had forgotten about that option. I have now added it into my boot file, and the windows just fly around the screen with no problem now. I have tried this option on Q40 and Q60. It has the nice effect that you can immediately see what is underneath the window being moved since the outlines don't obscure it. However it is a bit disturbing to see, sometimes, an extra outline in a completely different place. It is also rather slower than on QPC2. Has anyone else noticed this spurious outline? Re: [ql-users] A bit of a drag
In message [EMAIL PROTECTED], James Hunkins [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes If the system isn't quite fast enough to do the full window drag smooth enough for you, then WM_MOVEMODE 1 does the outline only versus full window. And you can reset it to just the Move sprite with WM_MOVEMODE 0. On QDT, to use the outline or full window modes to move a folder window (at least for a while), you will need to use the drop down menu to select move and hold the mouse button down while you are moving the folder window. If you use the short cut keys, it will use only the move sprite, regardless of the WM_MOVEMODE selected. jim On Jan 17, 2005, at 6:01 AM, Marcel Kilgus wrote: Tarquin Mills wrote: However one thing let's SMSQ/E down is that windows are moved not dragged, not even a frame outline is used.
