Hi Axel,

I do not know of a secure and portable method to integrate into QMS. That is 
what password vaults like Phrase-Lock are for.

I compiled QMS again and mariadb on a Raspberrypi works fine with QMS now!

Buy the way: Is it possible to encrypt the mariadb password on the 
client site in case of storing it with a programm outside QMS?


I use Debian Linux.

If I create a  mysql database and leave the passwd blank, the QMS start
window appears but close at once.

If I set a password in the menu and have no access to the Database, QMS
do not start as well.


How can I change this?

I just uploaded a patch that delays the MySQL setup. By that the main widget 
will be raised before the password dialog is displayed.
