pop3d question
Hi all. Is there any way to configure qmail-pop3d for not allow pop3 users to leave messages on server? --ejg:wq!
allow/deny pop3
Hi all. Is there any way to pass a "-x" paremeter file to tcpserver for allow/deny pop3 connections. I was using qpopper from inetd and used hosts.* files to do that work. Now, I'm using qmail-pop3d from daemontools and I'm looking for some /etc/tcp.pop3 file to restrict connections based on IP addresses. If it's possible, which is the format of this file? --ejg:wq!
pop3d log
Hi all. I'm using pop3d. I want to know if is possible to configure pop3d to log the username trying to connect as and more information about the connection. thanks --ejg:wq!
log format
Hi all. I'm using qmail-1.03, and it's working ok. Yesterday, I change the way to start qmail from tarball/INSTALL docs to LWQ. The problem is that the logs don't says (in human readable format), the date and time of each event. Instead of that, I see lines like @40003b535a1736077d54 tcpserver: ok 7541 0:10.1.1.1:25 :10.1.1.194::2525 How can I configure qmail startup process to log the events date and time like syslog? (Jul 17 12:03:00 host process: blah, blah, blah...) thanks --ejg
smtp only
Hi all. I have a server running sendmail with thousand users. I want to put another server with qmail to act as smtp only. What I need is users configure qmail as smtp server but keep the mailboxes on sendmail. If qmail receives a message to a user domain it delivers to sendmail. thanks ~edu
virtualdomains recipients
Hi all. I have configured virtualdomains like this [EMAIL PROTECTED]:yapedu [EMAIL PROTECTED]:yapedu and dot-qmail echo ./IN.ezmlm/ > ~yapedu/.qmail-ezmlm echo ./IN.qmail/ > ~yapedu/.qmail-qmail to sore messages from different list in differents Maildirs. My question is what happen when there are more than on address in the to: header and list address is not the first or if the list address is in CC? ~edu

forwarding problem
Hi all. I have a problem with some messages that are not forwarded and I don't know why. I have the following configuration: echo admin > ~alias/.qmail-root echo admin > ~alias/.qmail-postmaster echo admin > ~alias/.qmail-mailer-daemon cat ~admin/.qmail &[EMAIL PROTECTED] ./Mailbox Some error messages (for an address not in rcpthost) are delivered to postmaster and stored in ~admin/Mailbox but not forwarded to [EMAIL PROTECTED] How can I fix it? messages to admin, postmaster, root and mailer-daemon are forwarded and stored ok. thanks ~edu

customized filters
Hi all. I need to *automagically* save email messages (after read with mutt) from diferent lists to diferent files or folders based on recipient addresses (To or CC). I'm using fetchmail. Can I do it with a qmail feature or should I use procmail, maildrop, etc thanks --yapedu
