Re: Newsletter mailings with qmail+ezmlm

I mean send one mail to thousands of receipiants + automatic handling of bounces? That's what ezmlm does. How to set it up? See Dan's pages on ezmlm, plus ezmlm.org. Majordomo can be made to work with qmail. See www.qmail.org; mailing lists are mentioned a few times there. 2) Has anyone applied the big-concurrency patch in a Red-Hat 6.2 System? Yes. Or did you want some specific piece of information? RE: Newsletter
Not if you set the security options. I have mine set up so that only moderators can post, others get a message that tells them they don't have permission. It's in the FAQ at http://www.ezmlm.org. No. ezmlm and ezmlm-idx are easily configured to prevent anyone but the owner from submitting messages to them. We run several lists this way. It's in the ezmlm-idx FAQ. Yes, I cant do this because when I try to recompile qmail, it shows a msg like this "Your system has a hidden FD_SET() limit"... I dont know what to change in the kernel to made this work This is the piece Im looking for. You need to edit one of the system header files where the limit is specified. If you raise it more than a factor of four or so (IIRC), you will need to recompile your kernel. This was brought up on this mailing list some time in the last two weeks, with specific pointers to files/line numbers, etc. Search the archives for details. RE: Newsletter
Ok, but if the user that receives the email see the header: Delivered-To or Mailing-List and sends a email to this address, he will send a email to MY newsletter. Set the list to moderated and closed. That way no one can subscribe without your persmission and no one would be able to send an email to the list for all your subscribers to see. Anthony
