Re: [qmailtoaster] large volume mail restrictions
Hi guys, I'd like to know what do you mean with Disabling chkuser and how do you do that. Thanks, Marcos--- On Tue 05/22, Jake Vickers lt; [EMAIL PROTECTED] gt; wrote:From: Jake Vickers [mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Tue, 22 May 2007 08:35:13 -0400Subject: Re: [qmailtoaster] large volume mail restrictionsPakOgah wrote:gt; hmm... seems not, in fact I disable chkuser modulegt; lets ask the qmailtoaster's Prosgt; Jake, ES, EE any suggestion?gt;Disabling chkuser will set your limit at whatever the /var/qmail/control/concurrencyincoming is. If you're talking about bypassing chkuser by way of the tcp.smtp file, that would be a good question. I'd assume the above was still valid, but would want to check. You can bump the value for CHKUSER in tcp.smtp, but there is a hard limit at 254 (if I remember right) that can be changed - it's a compile option.Attachment: smime.p7s (4.38KB) ___ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!

[qmailtoaster] QMT ISO SRPMs?
Jake, Still working on my migration box, which is coming along nicely. Thanks for your answers on the qtp-backup/restore scripts. I appreciate the files being left, just wanted to be sure the something wasn't being missed! Two things I'm wondering about: 1. On my box I'm retiring, I had to disable domain keys by linking qmail-queue back to qmail-queue.orig; on the toaster wiki, it claims that will be done in future releases. Is that done in the ISO? 2. I like to have phpmyadmin installed for various tasks, but the latest version suggests mcrypt support, which in not compiled into the php rpm on the ISO. I was planning to get the SRPM and recompile with mcrypt support, but I cannot locate an SRPM for php-4.3.11-2.8. Can you point me to this SRPM? Not a huge deal, as phpmyadmin works without mcrypt...I'm just a perfectionist and like to get rid of warning messages! I can't say for sure, since I'm not running current packages myself. Look at the file and see what it links to. Sorry I can't give you a better answer. 2: That SRPM isn't kept around by Cent anymore, since there's newer version out I believe. Try updating PHP via yum, and then download the SRPM for the new version from one of the mirrors (http://centos.mirror.nac.net/4.4/ or http://centos.mirror.nac.net/4.5). I don't keep the SRPMs around myself. While drives are cheap, space isn't unlimited grin smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature

RE: [qmailtoaster] SMTP-AUTH vchkpw problems
Mark, There have been several discussions of this problem on the list in the last couple of years. I suggest reading http://qmail.jms1.net/test-auth.shtml to see if your test routine is REALLY testing SMTP-AUTH or not. If following the steps listed there doesn't clarify the problem, check the list archives the 'SMTP-AUTH'.
