Re: [qmailtoaster] Qmailtoaster updated packages!

2009-05-15 Thread Andreas Galatis
Hi Jake,

I got the same error on Suse 10.1 so the error is not Mandriva- related.

To resolve I moved the folder /usr/share/doc/squirrelmail-toaster/ReleaseNotes
to /usr/share/doc/squirrelmail-toaster/ReleaseNotes_old and installed the
package again.
The package created a new
folder /usr/share/doc/packages/squirrelmail-toaster/release_notes_archive/
where all the old release-notes where in and all works fine now.

Thanks a lot for the update

Andreas

This is on the unsupported version of Mandriva, correct?
I finally got a chance to download Mandriva and will try and get it
installed sometime over the next few days and test the packages on it.
Until then I suggest that you do not install QMT on a distro that is not
 currently supported.

I knew it wasn't an Mandriva issue but I was pretty much told to keep my mouth
shut until a 2009.1 package came out *shrug*

Don't take it personal Nigel - it's a numbers game and I lost. Out of
the people that responded to the survey I did, Mandriva constituted 1%
of QMT's user base (basically there's you and 1 other user). When you
posted that you had an error I looked at the number of downloads (which
was currently at 37 when you posted) and nobody else had made me aware
of any issues I honestly didn't even really look at the error in depth
and made an assumption. Guess I just needed to prove the old ASSumption
analogy again. Sorry about that.

I'll look into the error sometime over the weekend - it should be an
easy one to fix I believe.

Thanks. I'll try and run a test this weekend using that version and see
if I can reproduce the results. I made an adjustment to the RPM to work
around this but I don't have a way to test it out unless I can reproduce
the issue.
