[qmailtoaster] Re: receive copy email while receive and send

2010-09-20 Thread Eric Shubert

There is a bug in qmailadmin that modifies the .qmail file in a way that
causes duplication. IIRC it happens when changing the (last) name field.
The easiest remedy is to modify the .qmail file manually, deleting
the 2nd line in the file.

It'd be nice if someone would look at the code and see what's causing
this, so we could fix it permanently.

I performed the following (to no success):

from the list directory (memberlist) I ran: chmod 700 *

- All files/dirs were already vpopmail:vchkpw (owner:group)
- This did give a execute bit to all (wasn't there prior)

from the memberlist/subscribers directory I ran: chown -R vpopmail:vchkpw *

followed by: chmod -R 644 *

I tried deletion of a subscriber via the qmailadmin and the

Hello Eric thanks for your reply

You haven't given us much to go on Noel, so the best anyone can do is guess.

Do you get this message on every email, or just occasionally?

When I have this error, the message is on every mail

This error can be caused by a number of things. As Jake pointed out, an out

usually the culprit with this error. What do your spam and clamd logs show
which corresponds to this log entry?

I recently updated the clamav program and rebuild the clamav and the simscan
packages.

The clamav log is clean I have this line in the spamd log

09-20 12:38:49 [16035] info: prefork: server reached --max-children setting,
consider raising it

Can you thing I have this error for this line?

And how to solve this problem thanks.

@40004c97b94f1d8935ec qmail-smtpd: qq soft reject (mail server
 temporarily rejected message (#4.3.0)): MAILFROM:

You haven't given us much to go on Noel, so the best anyone can do is guess.

Do you get this message on every email, or just occasionally?

This error can be caused by a number of things. As Jake pointed out, an
out of date clamav package can cause this. Some sort of scanning issue
is usually the culprit with this error. What do your spam and clamd logs
show which corresponds to this log entry?

You'll need to translate the times in your logs to make any sense of
them. Either use the qmlog utility (with qmailtoaster-plus package), or
translate manually with tai64nlocal utility.

[qmailtoaster] Block Mail

2010-09-20 Thread Amit Dalia
Hi,

Is there any way to reject the mail if anywhere in the headers there
is a specific domain. I want to reject the mail for incoming as well
as for outgoing to that domain. I don't care if the mail is coming
from authenticated user account.
