Re: [qmailtoaster] How to block all outlook.com?

2014-12-03 Thread Andreas Galatis
Hi Tony,

if you use spamdyke:

Append .outbound.protection.outlook.com to your blacklist_rdns file

regards

--Andreas

 Hi folks,
I am sick to death of outlook.com.
Has anyone managed to block this spam center?
You have to laugh when you get spammed from

 outbound.protection.outlook.com

Also a full country blocking address list would be nice
 if one exists.

 TIA.

Hi Andreas,
Thank you but I thought you had to have the
@dom.name.tld not just the .dom.name.tld.
I will try it tonight.

best wishes

Which part is not working with TBird?
Which version/OS of TBird?
What are you cipher keys?

I'm using TBird v16 on ubuntu, and smtp and imap work fine with starttls.

with MS OUTLOOK 2010 it is working with the following settings

 POP3 CONNECTION
 pop 3 port : 995
 smtp port : 587
 encrypted connection : TLS

 IMAP CONNECTION
 imap port : 143
 encrypted connection : TLS

 smtp port : 587
 encrypted connection : TLS

however these settings do not work with thunderbird with with starttls or
 ssl/tls.

i am currently using thunderbird for several years now.

Yeah, there's a way to test starttls with telnet. You'll need to google
 for it.

Which client(s) are you using? There might be some sort of
 incompatibility between ciphers being used.

 Thanks.

[qmailtoaster] OT Outlook 2013

2014-12-03 Thread Gilbert T. Gutierrez, Jr.
Has anyone ever had an issue with Outlook connecting to QMT? I have a
machine that is killing me, it fails if I set it to authenticate POP3 or
IMAP. It either hangs and provides an error or it just says wrong
username and password. The account works, I know that much because I can
log into it with other clients on other machines.

Hello Eric,

it looks like there were some repositories last monday not online. Today
the installation script works great.

AW: [qmailtoaster] OT Outlook 2013

2014-12-03 Thread Andreas Galatis
Hi Gilbert

I had an issue changing Ooutlook 2013 from a qmail-toaster without STARTSSL
to another server with SSl enabled.
Outlook didn't connect with the new server, asked for passwords...

The connection worked when I deleted the first account and restarted
creating a new account, same credentials, just another servername.

Now I have a new issue:

The client moves mailst o a subfolder, some seconds afterwards findest he
mail in both, the subfolder and back again in INFOLDER.

[qmailtoaster] spam from my own domain

2014-12-03 Thread Rajesh M
hi

mydomain.com email service on my server.

i recd a spam from u...@mydomain.com, from the spammer's server.

the mailfrom shows as : u...@mydomain.com

Return-Path: apa...@lackdesign.cz

i use spf qmail spf check at level 2

logically Received-SPF is supposed to show as spf failed, however it is showing
as pass.

is it because of the envelope sender, ie Return-Path header ?

could you please let me know what additional steps i need to take to prevent
such spam with mailfrom as my own domain.
