Once you have purchased the service, you simply need to add this line to your /var/qmail/control/smtproutes file: :outbound.mailhop.org:2525 username password and you're all set. hello, list I have the rarest problem. It is that shipment post office to hotmail and never arrives, if I watch in logs the mail were deliberate. Now if this same user of hotmail me shipment a mail and I put to respond to him directly when I create the message if they arrive to him. They do not arrive when I create a new message, and in for I put the direction. Now if, they arrive if me shipment a mail and I put to respond directly. hola, lista tengo un problema rarisimo. Resulta que envio correos a hotmail y nunca llega, si miro en los logs el correo fue deliverado. [qmailtoaster] problems with yahoo
hello, list, from some time now I have serious problems with the emails that come from my server to yahoo, these are the output queue, and some bounce back saying that time has expired. According to Yahoo, not a bug as it says later intenet, but the Verada is no longer to do this not to happen. Someone has the same problem. I change the server ip, enable domankeys, and several other things but the problem persists hola,, lista,, desde hace ya un tiempo tengo serios problemas con los correos que salen de mi servidor hacia yahoo, estos quedan el cola de salida, y algunos rebotan diciendo que expiro el tiempo. Segun yahoo , no es un error ya que dice intenet mas tarde,, pero la verada es que ya no se que hacer para que no pase esto. Alguien tiene el mismo problema. Ya cambie la ip del servidor, habilite domankeys, y varias cosas mas pero el problema persiste

I have tried RoundCube and it is ok, although it doesn't have as many
functions as squirrelmail. But it looks lot nicer :)
As far as other open source solutions:
1. Zimbra needs Apache Tomcat (doesn't work for me)
2. @mail open source is bad solution, without any support from development
team, not even on their forums. I will never try that software again. Not to
mention that i wasn't even able to install it without changing part of
installer and even then it was bad...
3. AfterLogic looks nice but it doesn't have addressbook and calendar in
open source version, as far as i can remember...
4. never tried hastymail, but i think that newest version is from december
2008. almost a year ago.
So, for now our only solution is squirrelmail or roundcube. Squirrelmail
has more features, roundcube looks nicer... :)

Roundcube has had several major security flaws in the past that allowed persistent crackers to obtain shell access on a server. I do not recommend it anymore as I have lost trust in the code base at this point. Mine is not the only opinion, but if you do go with it I would recommend trolling their forums every other day to keep up on vulnerabilities. There are some skins for Squirrelmail that others have suggested. I've personally used Nutsmail (nustmail.com) with it and it worked well. Horde is a little bit of setup, and I think it's interface is kludgy, but it does provide a little more functionality. eGroupware is a little cleaner and provides a lot of extra functionality, but I have not set it up for Qmail yet myself. lleno de correos muy viejos, la idea es que elimine de todos los dominios
correos mayores a 180 dias.
No se cual sera el problema pero , al correr este script me dice que la
lista es demasioado larga.

Hola, lista, antes que nada , pido disculpas por escribir en español. pero les cuento que este problema ya no se como solucionarlo, y obviamente no escribo en ingles, siempre utilizo los tradusctores, pero se ve que no traducen bien mi problema. Les cuento que tengo qmail, funcionando desde octubre de 2006 sin problemas. Salvo algunos problemas por desconocer el sistema. Bueno, mi problema puntual es el siguiente. Cada vez que mi proveedor , me corta internet, y yo desde un cliente trato de enviar un correo, el servidor me lo rechaza , antes de enviarlo, justo cuando estoy haciendo la negociacion para el envio. Yo antes tenia un Exchange y por mas que no tuviera internet, el exchange recibia los correos y los pasaba ala cola , esperando hasta que los pueda enviar. Esto es lo que necesito que haga qmail, recibir los correos, siempre y si no tengo internet que los encole. Pense que era por las RBL, pero configuro el cliente de correo con el puerto 587 ( submission) y hace oo mismo. Ya no se que probra, debe querer chequear algo , no se si son listas negras, dns reverse o algo, probe tambien deshabilitando el spamassasin y hace lo mismo. Bueno , pido disculpas nuevamente y espero que alguien me entienda.

Gracias,, por tu contestacion,, seguramente debe ser el RBL que esta rechazando las conexiones. Voy a buscar como deshabiliarlo cuando no tenga servicio de internet. 2008/8/7 Hostmaster [EMAIL PROTECTED] Si el servidor ha perdido la conexion a internet, y tienes un cliente de intranet que si puede conectarse, entonces el servidor recibirá el correo y lo pondrá en cola hasta que pueda ser entregado. Otro detalle es que el servicio de antispam, sea Spamassassin o SpamDyke, necesitan resolver DNS para poder aceptar el correo y contactar a los servidores rbl, y si no tienes conexion a internet en el servidor, no logrará resolver los DNS y esas otras cosas, por lo tanto puede estar rechazando los correos que se tratan de enviar. Ese error te lo esta dando la RBL , o sea el chequeo contra las listas negras. Esa ip que intentas enviarle esta en lista negra.
