RE: [qmailtoaster] Qmailtoaster failover server procedure
Hi Eric, Sorry I was out of the office yesterday. I like the sounds of that. I will start doing that this afternoon as I get time. It will certainly make things easier to find. I will separate the tips into their own pages and then take it from there. I will let you know once I've done it, but it may take today and tomorrow, have a lot of catch up work to deal with. I've only learned (and am still learning) the wiki stuff by playing with it. I imagine that you could add the outline for TT to the main page with '==' tags, and it'd get sucked into the TOC. I don't like that idea though because we'd end up with the same thing in 2 places. I abhor redundancy (high maintenance). There might be a 'slick' way to do it, I just don't know of one. Now that I think of it, how about making each Tip/Trick it's own wiki page. That way they can be linked to individually from from the main page, and be included in the TOC. I think that'd be good. Would you like to do it? Craig Smith wrote: Sorry Eric I forgot to ask, is there any way to include the TOC for tips and tricks on the main list. Sort of as a submenu. It will make it easier to browse and quicker to find what you are looking for. Just a thought. RE: [qmailtoaster] Qmailtoaster failover server procedure
I have made the changes to the tips and tricks. Now each trick is directly availble from the main page as a subsection of the tips and trick section. -Original Message- From: Craig Smith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 01 November 2006 11:07 To: qmailtoaster-list@qmailtoaster.com Subject: RE: [qmailtoaster] Qmailtoaster failover server procedure Hi Eric, Sorry I was out of the office yesterday. Re: [qmailtoaster] Qmailtoaster failover server procedure
Nice, Craig. I like how you added a link to the TT section (page) at the bottom, although I typically just use the 'back' browser button. I figured that I'd redirect the TT page back to the TT position on the main page, so everything would be in only one place. I tried specifying the redirect as [[Main_Page#User_Tips_.26_Tricks]], but it simply took me to the top of the main page, instead of positioning at TT. I'd sure like this to work this way, so the TT page itself doesn't need to be maintained to coincide with the main page. Does anyone know how to get a redirect to work with page positioning? I'd really prefer not having to maintain the TT page separately (and redundantly). Craig Smith wrote: I have made the changes to the tips and tricks.
