Re: [qmailtoaster] large volume mail restrictions
Hi guys, I'd like to know what do you mean with Disabling chkuser and how do you do that. I'd assume the above was still valid, but would want to check. You can bump the value for CHKUSER in tcp.smtp, but there is a hard limit at 254 (if I remember right) that can be changed - it's a compile option.Attachment: smime.p7s (4.38KB) ___ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!

Re: [qmailtoaster] large volume mail restrictions
Don't know if this is your situation without more info, but if your client is managing the list via their email client and sending via their ISP like ATT/SBC, then I'd tell them to talk to their ISP first, or use webmail on your server instead. Some ISP's have rules about how many emails you can send through their network in an hour, or the max size of an email. And don't forget to remind your client to use Bcc: if appropriate--and it sounds like it is given the large volume they are sending. Re: [qmailtoaster] large volume mail restrictions
They are sending it via the toaster itself. And not their ISP's smtp server.
