[QUAD-L] laptop hit the floor.

[DEBRA DEW]

for the first time in 15 years of being institutionalized, the CNA knocked over 
my bed table  and everything flew off onto the floor, INCLUDING MY LAPTOP! It 
is still running fine. I believe. These things must take a licking and keep on 
ticking. I can't believe  everything seems to be operational.

!important; }  Same here, I dread this time of year. It's cold, dark and gray 
until May and also I am stuck inside till then.  I am cold ALL the time and can 
only sleep with 2 heating pads. One under my neck and he other on my chest and 
neck.
I also am in recovery and this time of year is always a struggle for me. Not 
much to do when I am Snowed in.  So my plan now is to take it one day at a 
time, read and dwell on the positive. It can be a daily struggle sometimes, I 
agree Meredith.  Maybe we could keep in touch and make this time more 
manageable for both of us?!

Where do you live?I moved to AZ just to get warm. Still have cold issues, but 
not as bad. Its really cooling off now, 60 degrees for the high. I'm wearing

Yep, this is quite common for many of us Quads in the winter months...I keep a 
bed buddy neck wrap handy that I heat up in the microwave and that helps me a 
lot, I also keep a plug in heater in my room that I has 2 buttons, on for lower 
heat or both on for higher, that comes in handy also.. Dan H**
