Hi Bobbie,

My partner is a Reiki master and massage therapist. I get both frequently, yep you're right it can be an awesome experience. Especially by someone who loves you :-)

[QUAD-L] Has anybody ever tried reiki?

2004-09-08 Thread wheelchair
In life, if it doesn't kill your neighbor and its good for you... go for it.
Reiki, is not a religion but a lifestyle or way of healing using touch.
I'm sure that there are some who may chose to embrace this lifestyle as a
religion, but its practice is still too new as it is traced back to around the
end of WWW II.
Other similar but different practices could be Eck, Est, Galstalt and Silva
Method-Mind Control and I'm sure I missed a few others.

Bobbie an interesting read.
How much did your treatment cost?
Just curious but how long was it and did it last a long time.

H,
Sounds like another renamed version of accu-pressure, centuries old
techniques of increasing blood flow and nerve point stimulus.

One of my attendants does it. She uses it as a replacement for religion.
And NO I will not get into that heated topic. But she does call her, her
spiritualist. Oh well. If used as a message or such I'm sure it would be
quite relaxing. take care,

Dana and ?
