I am reading backward on the list today  I feel that Politics effect our lives 
very much, at least most of us! I've been on this list since 1997, we have seen 
a lot of people come  go with a lot of heated discussions, but that is life!

John said the same and I agree!  Our help comes from the government (well,
for most anyway) even if it's county or state government.

The government controls more (tons) of our lives than folks realize.
Gasoline prices?  The Fed Gov't CAN regulate this and stop the insanity in
that realm.  One realm out of oodles.  They don't (or won't) but that's our
government.

Anyway, thanks for your input and ignore the thought police here.  Our
thoughts  opinions at least can be shared here.

Amen to that!  I'm kind-of a new-comer who was happy to stumble on this list.  
Its been a pleasure to find a place where the quad-specific subjects that one 
can't talk about in polite company can be discussed freely, without fear or 
embarassment.  Even among close friends and lovers its impossible to get the 
empathy and insight that I've seen shared here among fellow quads.  That's 
wonderful and I really, REALLY appreciate having such a forum available 
(Thank-you, Jim Lubin)!

I'm not (and never will be) one to suggest censoring anyone or anything 
--within reason-- but some things have a place ...which implies that some other 
things may not be entirely appropriate or even welcome.  Religion and Politics 
are at the tippity-top of that latter list.  If I want to discuss those hot 
topics there are countless places I can go.  I prefer not to, thanks.  Too much 
venom for my body and psyche to process and I've got enough digestive issues to 
deal with in my unwieldy and often uncooperative body.

In a nutshell, shouldn't this be a place to share what we have (uniquely) in 
common, rather than trying to find differences?  In my humble opinion, I would 
say it is.

great I have it financially or how everyone should think and feel the way I 
do.. This is a place to be humble and touch each other with positiveness and 
kindness,I'm all about discussing topics specially related to SCI but if we are 
to discuss other topics please don't impose it on everyone, do a  friends
