I feel bad for you guys.  I'm 38 years post and I do get cold because I don't
have good circulation in my extremities, but I also don't feel those
extremities getting cold.  Not unless they get supercold or maybe later on
after going to bed I'll get cold, but I warm up fairly well and do okay.  But I
can empathize… Jeff

2017-12-07 Thread poajoan
After 27 years my body seems to have adjusted to the colder weather somehow.
I still get really cold, but when the sun is shining I feel so much better.
I do have the wood stove with a glass door so that I can see the flames,
portable infrared heaters that I control with Amazon Echo, and of course a
lot of sun! Today the high is supposed to be 34°, and it was 14°overnight.
My house is designed to let in all the winter sunshine, so I can bask in the
sun to my heart’s desire until 3:00 PM when it goes down!

I feel guilty complaining, my lows are 66 today. Those guys where it snows,
etc. I remember those days.
Moving to AZ best thing I ever did.

I need my vicoprophen, soma and a heating pack when I get cold because my body
tenses up/shakes and my neck/head are bent over toward my right shoulder since
I’ve got feeling there due to my S.C.I. being an asymmetrical injury. I assume
that it’s from a combination of all the metal in me, the bones I
broke/shattered and the inability to regulate my own body temperature due to my
S.C.I.. What do you guys think? I’m a newer quad and am still learning a lot
about myself/my body as a quad.

I understand. It is supposed to be in the mid-thirties for highs the next two
weeks here in old Kaintuck. I hug a heater all day. Yep, the sun shines bright
