hi

take a look through some of the older posts in the group:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/quantumowners/bearing|sort:relevance/quantumowners/X2nYo1zYeCQ/-P56a3vPKCkJ

in short, tighten them till they start to grip, then slacken off a bit.
someone else did mine, but as per the first link above you do NOT tighten
up to any ford level, they are a different type of bearing.

cheers Chris

Hello. Everyone.
Got the Xtreame MOT done today and I have noisy front wheel bearings.Looking at
the build manual it just says tighten and check after 20 miles. As the hub is
not a Ford part.
I am not able to replace these my self, so what torque setting should I
recommend to the garage that will do the work for me?

Anthony is doing a wonderfull job on this interesting project, Matthew.
I was lucky to see the car before Stoneleigh, albeit very shortly.
There must be around 10miles of copperwiring gone into that, but not all for
the conversion I haste to say.
And is does make sense: an electric convertible and enjoy the birds singing.
Worth waiting for.
