Re: [Quantum Owners] Leak From Inside Car - 2+2
If it's only a small leak, yes. What happens usually is that the water collects in the lower heater cover so watch out when you remove it. You will also find that if the weather gets colder that the windscreen will mist up if you try and use the fan. Re: [Quantum Owners] Leak From Inside Car - 2+2
If it is the matrix, try and find a genuine Ford one with Aluminium fins and plastic pipes and end caps. The pattern ones tend to be copper fins and pipes, don't fit very well and seem to produce far less heat than the Ford ones. Jim On 22/06/2017 16:38, SMIDG3T wrote: So I’ve got another leak! Wooo! Re: [Quantum Owners] Leak From Inside Car - 2+2
Yes, agree, heater matrix, or if the pipes aren't sealed very well in the engine bay it could one one of the hose connections to the heater. At least it can be changed from inside the car without removing the dash. I don't actually know the part number for the metal clips as I've always been able to get the cover unclipped without breaking them (famous last words). Knowing they are very delicate probably helps.
