[qubes-users] i3 wm package still in testing
Hi, It seems that the i3 window manager has been in the testing repository for a while, and I don't see many bug reports or posts on the mailing lists with problems associated to the i3 window manager. Anything else required to make this package stable or when it can be moved to the stable repository? [qubes-users] Qubes 4.0 +Debian9 with Chuckoo Sandbox on Virtualbox
Hey community, i hope, that someone can help me by following probleme. My main OS is Qubes 4.0. No Dual-boot or other stuff. Only Qubes 4.0 installed. My target: Install Chuckoo Sandbox in Virtualbox on Debian9 https://cuckoo.sh/docs/installation/host/index.html On my Debian9 Template i installed Virtualbox successfully. On Virtualbox i want install Windows7-Pro 64 Bit. First probleme is that i only can use 32bit Version of Windows and also Linux. = After configs and try start Windows7 i become following error message Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908) The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Please reinstall the kernel module by executing '/sbin/vboxconfig' as root. where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT. = I think i must update my kernel, but how can i do this under Qubes? Hello, I'm trying to install Qubes 4.0.1-rc1 on 'Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming' laptop. The installer first works fine without crashes, then when reaching 'qubes-mgmt-salt-base-topd.noarch' it freezes. I need help to get this Qubes installed on the laptop because I love Qubes! I run Qubes 4.0.0, and my sys-net runs the fedora-28 template (without modifications). I have tried googling around but could not seem to find a solution. I found an old fedora thread stating that there is a package that can be used for network manager in KDE (I can't seem to find it again). That package didn't work however. I have tried opening a terminal in sys-net, killing nm-applet and starting it again. That does not seem to work either. Any comments/suggestions welcome! The newest Lenovo BIOS for the X230 dates from June 2018, which is definitely newer than the Coreboot (SeaBIOS version 1.11.0) which is on this machine now. Should I firstly flash the new Lenovo BIOS or directly flash the newest Skull? I bought that X230 with Coreboot already flashed, so I don't have the original BIOS nor any information one might need to gather from it.
