I like this idea ! My wife turns the alarm off every weekend, because she just sees the 'alarm on' icon, and doesn't want to look into every alarm if it is disabled for the weekend. It would best to post the URLs of the stations so that they can be checked they are exclusively mms. If you have some free time, you can try the French Internet radios by searching in : Internet radios / World / Countries : France / Towns : Lyon (which is my town currently) and then trying Europe 1 or Nostalgie (or other radio stations, as most of thems have mms streams...). Edit: You do not need to change the URL from mms to http - SBS will do that automatically when trying a mms stream. It is why stations use mms URLs as players know they can replace mms (and port 1755) with http. A benefit of http is that it gets around many firewalls as it uses http and port 80 just like a browser whereas mms is usually blocked as it uses special protocol on port 1755. I was just getting ready to post this. I meant to last night. I saw it in My Sundays paper last night. I too checked out my BestBuy before I ordered over phone from Crutchfield. If I would have known it would have been this price I would have waited the two weeks. Yeah Best Buy did NOT have any I could find. I know last year they said they had the Grace. But I wanted WIRED ethernet connection w wifi as an alternative. Most sales peopl shrugged.Duh Shame on them But I want to buy two more. Im waiting so for the REMOTE.. I push big button when it show install but nothing happens. just stays there. Once it urned off the actual radio and restarted. It played one of my presets. Tried again. But only place I see the Beta weather is under applet installer. I click the button under install I pushed the Big knob show current(04) or install(04) then it disappears off my logitech radio screen. and y current preset that im listening to come on the screen DO i have to have my actual computer on for this plugin WEATHEr to work? Can someone clarify this: have warranties on logitech Squeezebox products gone from 2 years parts and labor to 1 year only parts? There is a discrepancy between logitecksqueezebox.com and logitech.com. I do not think logitech is aware of this and perhaps the one year warranty is in error. Clarification is needed. [SlimDevices: Radio] Dimming when playing vs. std.-by
Other posts discuss the autodimming which is great, but tends to dim to much. I saw romours that they will evt. include a max-dim feature shiwh could be handy. I've also noticed the screen saver when playing is darker than the one showing when in std.-by. In the original thread of the plugin you will also find a small discussion about possible values for US cities (but most likely 'city, state' will be sufficient). [SlimDevices: Radio] How to Switch from SBS to MySB?
If I've just listened to my local server and now have switched to Rhapsody, does the Radio know the server is no longer needed and let it shut down? Or, how do I manually switch Radio source from server to network?
