Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Issue with Radio - Blue Icon
I have a Radio with the Community Firmware, but when I have the Wifi connectivity problem, I get a red symbol not blue. Turning it off and on fixes it for a while. It can be a few minutes or hours, and one time a day or two before dropping the Wifi. [SlimDevices: Radio] Issue with Radio - Blue Icon
My server is a picore player connected by ethernet to my router. I have a radio connected wirelessly. I'm having issues with the radio losing its connection to the picore music server. After I lose the connection, if I restart the radio, it reconnects fine to the picore music server. As long as I'm playing something, the radio seems to keep the connection. But once I stop playing, it disconnects and I see a blue wireless icon. I don't think it's my network because I was previously running a radio on the same set up and had no issues (I gave that radio to a friend). I upgraded to the community firmware for the radio, but that hasn't helped. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] WiFi connection unstable/lost on three Radios
Hello. Have the same problem as many others with my Squeezebox after switching to a new router. My radio has been disconnected due to a broken AC adapter but yesterday I bought a new adapter and reconnected my radio. The radio sometimes worked for a few minutes, sometimes for an hour, but then it disconnected again and dropped the wifi signal. I solved the problem with an old wifi extender Linksys RE1000 connected to my radio. Now it works as it did with my old router and it does not lose the wifi signal. Hope this solution works for you too. I was able to play the stream with VLC and ffplay to confirm it was the right audio for the site. When I tested with LMS I had problems. I tried a few variations with no success but not the one omitting ";stream.mp3" bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113705 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

However, it plays (from command line at least) with the semicolon omitted. https://sc.vargonen.net:5001/stream.mp3 and even https://sc.vargonen.net:5001 although the 2nd one seems to take longer to get started. The audio on browser is provided by a different URL https://sc.vargonen.net:5001/;stream.mp3 Do NOT try to play this URL in LMS - I have tried a few times and LMS seems to get messed up - not sure why but possibly the semicolon is causing problem with a parser somewhere or maybe port number. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113705 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
