Assuming the script works ... Squeezelite will be automatically restarted when the USB DAC is powered on. Let me ask you something, to confirm if my understanding is correct. If my DAC is powered off and I start squeezelite, it will fail to start because my DAC won't be found and it will remain in that state. However, with the steps that I just followed, once my DAC comes back on, squeezelite will reboot on its own and it will then find the DAC. Is this so? thanks again! kitus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=73121 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109796 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Cam you explain the 'right bandwidth' option? I suspect the setting 'channel optimization' in my router to be the cause of the disconnection of my radio. I'm now on yesterdays Beta ("Labor") Version 7.39-101157, and my Radio is connected directly to the WiFi of the Fritz!Box 7590. However, as I wrote earlier, this also happens if I connect it to a TP-Link Access Point behind the Fritz!Box, so I don't think the Problem is WiFi or Mesh related. Or are we having different problems with similar symptoms? powerzone3000's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=73118 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116988 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] piCorePlayer - squeezelite is not running
How is your amp connected to your RPi ? If USB then there is a way to script things so that Squeezelite is run when the USB device is detected. It is possibly buried in a thread somewhere here - but worth checking the pCP documentation site just in case it has been imported to there. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] piCorePlayer - squeezelite is not running
Sorry to bring up this old thread, but I did not see any other newer one that resonate well with my question. My picoreplayer fails to restart when my external amp is off. I believe this is aligned with what is discussed in this thread. Should I force audio output to my raspberry line out to ensure it is able to boot? thanks!! kitus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=73121 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109796 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] WiFi connection unstable/lost on three Radios
Just an update - so, it was (easily, if a tad hidden in the Menus) possible to disable WiFi6 / 802.11ax, and everything (including the old laptop) works fine. The family have had enough of my "messing about" for the moment, but a tad later I'll try re-enabling WiFi6, and see if the kit "holds" its now-established connection or cuts out. Back in the day, I did have some kit in the system that would not do a first connection if 5Ghz was enabled along with 2.4Ghz at the router, but would hold its 2.4Ghz connections when 5Ghz was re-enabled. So I'm wondering if WiFi5 and 6 may have a similar quirk, at least on this router? Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] FritzOS 7.50 (Fritz Labor 7.39): Squeezebox Radio looses connection
So gehts dann. Werde weiter experimentieren. Mesh abschalten ist ja eigentlich eine schlechte Idee. Für den Router gibt es auch ein neues Labor, mal sehen ob ich das auch wage zu installieren. Habe AVM informiert.
