found a Clem H for sale that I’m interested in though so I was hoping for
some opinions about the differences here! From what I can tell, the H just
has a sleeper head tube angle and everything else seems to be about the
same. Do they ride similar? The H is a better deal as far as parts go than
a complete. I’m also almost certain the complete will get a decent price

 Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

2022-08-03 Thread Joe Bernard
Offer? I don't have one for sale, I'm just saying they're good.

As for it being a good companion to a Susie that depends on what you're
looking to do. If you want racks and bags to go shopping and the Susie is
set up as a mountain bike, well there ya go. Different bikes for different
stuff!

It's basically the same, just a little stiffer. The L has a smidge of flex

[RBW] Clem H curious

2022-08-03 Thread Ryan Frahm
I just finished my Susie build (first Riv) and I have never ridden a bike
like it. It brings comfort and riding enjoyment to an all time high for me!
I do however find it to be almost too nice!

I was interested in waiting for a Clem L to come back in stock to use as my
grocery getter/winter bike to keep fenders on and haul more stuff. I found
a Clem H for sale that I’m interested in though so I was hoping for some
opinions about the differences here! From what I can tell, the H just has a
sleeper head tube angle and everything else seems to be about the same. Do
they ride similar? The H is a better deal as far as parts go than a
complete. I’m also almost certain the complete will get a decent price bump
on the next run. The step thru is cool but not a huge deal for me.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Re: [RBW] Re: ROADUNO - a new singlespeed!

2022-08-03 Thread Bill Lindsay
That sounds about right to me, Eric. I'm guessing something that is kind
of like a Leo Roadini with cantilever brakes, clearance for 50mm tires and
Quickbeam-style ends. I hope it has a long front center to avoid TCO. My
Crust Florida Man has no TCO with 700x50 tires, and I think that's
awesome. My 58cm Quickbeam has a tiny bit of TCO with a 700x42 front tire,
and it's annoying. I'd gladly run a 2cm shorter stem with a 2cm longer
front-center and the same HTA.

Exciting indeed. I will be first in line for the production frames. I
wonder what the color options will be?

Sounds great. I'm praying for purple (no grey or RBW Blue,
please--sorry but they use 'em too much) and v-brakes. Based on the
 name I
think the latter is unlikely : (

The Roaduno samples are on the boat, at the dock in Oakland this week, so
those sample builds will be along soon. Exciting.
