[RBW] Re: New Roadini or hang on to Sam
This does make for an interesting question... So the Roadini has slightly steeper (.5 degree, I believe) head and seat tube angles, the top tube is baseball-batted in diameter, but does anyone know what the wall thicknesses are? Not entirely indicative of sportiness, I know, but these stats are always what I fall back on when describing how "sporty" one frame feels from another, components being the same. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. Re: [RBW] Re: Rene Herse "went to go-fast 700c rando machines many years ago for a good reason"?
I've found that to be true in my case as well; I commuted for several years year-round on 25's and 28's here in Indiana, and on most types of snow, the narrower tire would cut through it and find some traction. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. Doesn't the Roadini use some of the same tubes as the Sam? And for the ones that aren't shared, how do they compare with the equivalent Sam tubes? [RBW] FS: New Acorn Medium Rando Bag
Cross posted from the iBob and 650b list, figured it would fit here also. I picked this up with the intent of finding/making a padded insert to carry around my camera and gear... I'd put the White Industries hub up there in the "pricey" category as well... The VO is better, but I suppose what I'm looking for is something in the $100 range...
