[RBW] Re: WTB: Sycip "singles bar"

2022-08-15 Thread Adam Ratcliffe
I was running the Soma Oxford bar (essentially the same as the Albatross)
on my Midnight Special and wanted something a little wider and less swept
back but still with some rise. I put the Sycip JJJ bar on and have been
really liking it so far. It has similar sweep to the Singles Bar and is a
little wider, but not by much, and has 20mm rise. I've found it a pretty
nice balance between on road comfort and control on rougher terrain. I'm
using ESI chunky grips on them.

[RBW] WTB threadless stem in 120mm length

2021-02-13 Thread Adam Ratcliffe
Hi, I just switched my Midnight Special over to Soma Oxford bars (roughly
the same shape as the Albatross) and am wanting a little more reach than
the stock 100mm stem I was using with drops. Ideally in black CroMo.

[RBW] WTB: albatross bar or similar for upright setup

2020-11-08 Thread Adam Ratcliffe
I'm looking to convert my Surly Midnight Special to a more Rivendell like
upright setup and am interested in Albatross, Billie, or Choco bars. Would
also be interested in suitable brake levers and friction shifters (11spd
compatible).

Cheers
Adam
