Beautiful bike. Enjoy!

You’ll have to give us an update when you get to ride it.

2023-06-19 Thread getjosh...@gmail.com
Thank you all for the replies. I'll give those washers a try. I may look at
a few local places for them before ordering. It'll give me a reason to ride
around anyway.

Sorry for the bad pic link. I tried to post pics for about 20 minutes the
other day and a flickr link was the closest I could get.

[RBW] SunTour Shifter, plastic washer falling apart.

2023-06-18 Thread getjosh...@gmail.com
I've got SunTour bar end shifters on my Atlantis and one of the plastic
washers is falling apart. It's mostly gone at this point and there is a
fair bit of play in that shifter. Two questions for the group.
1. can this be replaced?
2. would this brass dome washer from Riv
https://www.rivbike.com/products/brass-dome-washer?variant=41087107530863
do the trick, or can those only be used on the silver product. I know that
the silver shifters are nearly a copy of the Shimano pod and SunTour
shifter.

Re: [RBW] Re: daily post ur riv

2020-08-20 Thread getjosh...@gmail.com
Austin,
I'm glad that you were able to stuff 2.6" tires in that Clem, but I'm
pretty surprised. I've got 2.4" tires in mine and the chain rubs the tire
a bit in the lowest gear on the small ring. It's not an issue and it's not
constant, but when I'm on rough terrain it will wiggle around enough to
where it'll rub a bit. Cool bike man.

[RBW] Re: What role does your Joe A. fill?

2020-08-08 Thread getjosh...@gmail.com
Geez. I didn't realize how messed up my pictures came out. Some person's
ABG from work and a sideways pic of my bike, not cool. I'll try better
next time. As for the question about the bars, these are the billy bars
and I just taped them up and stuck on some cork form the riv site. I do
love this bike.
