Re: [RBW] Bleriot with Middle Ear Problem?
Wheel flop? If there is such a thing. Sounds like the way I've heard it described. Re: [RBW] Bleriot with Middle Ear Problem?
But all Bleriots have wheel flop, and it doesn't change and become more or less pronounced. This sounds to me like a headset problem. On 10/28/2015 10:57 AM, clyde canter wrote: Wheel flop? I thought maybe it was a worn headset, but the symptoms don't seem to match. The bike's still rideable, but this condition seems to be worsening. [RBW] Bleriot with Middle Ear Problem?
This is probably a silly question, but does the front tire have enough air? What you're describing sounds like a tire flopping back and forth on the rim. Low tire pressure - especially on a big-ish tire - can still look rideable until it's almost completely flat. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] Bleriot with Middle Ear Problem?
My Bleriot has begun acting strangely in that I can feel it "wandering" underneath me, as if the front wheel were loose and pointing a little bit this way, then a little bit that, and generally acting like it was losing its sense of balance. The condition was so noticeable yesterday that I stopped more than once on my commute and checked to make sure that the steering and wheel were both secure (they seemed to be OK when I held the wheel with my knees and tried to jiggle the handlebars). I thought maybe it was a worn headset, but the symptoms don't seem to match. The bike's still rideable, but this condition seems to be worsening. Any ideas about what might be causing this problem?
