Indeed, it'll be a pretty long wait. Looks like the colors are going to be
RBW Orange and Blue Silver this time around after talking to their team.

Hopefully it plateaus at a sustainable height at some point.

If you have a pile of parts for a Riv build, I imagine there's a
Riv-adjacent frame you could Riv-out in the meantime so you're not
completely without! Bit tougher if it's 650B wheels you've got, but
doable. Soma Buena Vista is a good option!

I know of people who regularly purchase 'Limited/Collectible' stuff online.
You have your cart ready (as much as you can) have paypal ready in your
browser with quickpay or whatever. Refresh page constantly from a minute
before the release. It goes live it shouldn't take more than 5 seconds to
complete your purchase. No bots required.
I feel like people buying rivs aren't using macros or bots. They are just

2021-08-12 Thread Johnny Alien
The completes are in September. They might be an easier grab than just the
frame. Maybe you can grab one and swap parts and sell whatever is extra? It
is such a crazy market. I know that Rivendell doesn't like it any more than
we do.

For the record, I am holding out for a miracle. No parts are up for grabs

Re: [RBW] Clem L frames live 3et 8/12/21

2021-08-12 Thread Andrew Huston
Truly unbelievable. Gone in less than a minute I think. I so badly wanted a
lime olive and had it in cart to the last button click, then poof. Gone.
If anyone is sourcing parts I have a nice heap that seem to be useless now.
Really hoping for a miracle. Let me know if you bought one and change your
mind.

I fell in love with my blue Clem all over again when I took it on vacation
and rode it all over the north. It’s just such a good bike. So comfortable
and stretched out. I do love a Platypus, that’s for sure, but the Clem is
just special in its own right. I hope the changes made were good ones (they
will be) and that the people who most want these bikes and will ride them
are the ones who will a Clem on the day of the sale.

The recent edition of Calling In Sick, Clem L edition really makes a person
extra glad to own a Clem.
