[RBW] FS: 61cm A. Homer Hilsen - Frame + Fork + Headset or Almost Complete

2018-07-19 Thread René Sterental
Hi all,

Continuing on my (slow) downsizing project, I've decided to sell my 61cm
Waterford built AHH. The bike is in excellent condition with just a few
paint chips.
- Frame, fork & DuraAce headset: $ 1,000 + shipping via Bike Flights

While the bike is still assembled, I can include:
- Sugino XD2 Triple crankset: $110
- Phil BB: $100
- Shimano XT / Mavic A719 36 spoked Rich-built Wheelset: $300
- Paul Center-pull brakes with Yokozuna pads: +$200 for the set F/R
- Shimano DuraAce 9 speed downtube shifters: $50
- Shimano RD-M772 9 speed rear derailer: $50
- Campagnolo Mirage triple front derailer 9 speed: $30
- Shimano 9 speed cassette 12-36: $20
- Nitto Mark's Rack original (with front tab): $100
- Compass BonJon Pass 700x35 Extralight tan sidewall with lots of life left
(center grooves very visible): $100
- King Iris bottle cages: $12 each or both for $20

If the frame sells alone, these plus other parts will be available for sale
individually.

Not including seat post, saddle, pedals or cockpit. For local pickup in the
SF Bay Area, I'll leave the Honjo fenders mounted, if shipping, most likely
will need to remove, but will include for free if you want them.

Offers accepted.

[RBW] FS: 61cm A. Homer Hilsen f/f/h

2017-06-24 Thread Eric Karnes
Hi all-

So, I'm selling my 61cm AHH. I purchased it a year back on this very list.
I love the ride (and it's beautiful), but it's a bit too small in the seat
tube. If you have a PBH of 87 to 89cm, this is the bike for you. I've
photographed it with the seat height at 76cm (see below).

Anyways, this Hilsen is a bit different that the standard...it has a
threadless steerer, 130mm rear spacing, and no kickstand plate. And it's
painted a beautiful pearlescent orange (the paint is really stunning and
photos can't do it justice). It's in great condition, with a few paint
chips in the normal places (chain stay, one on the headtube, etc.), but
nothing super noticeable. The original owner also mentioned a super tiny
dent in the top tube, but to be honest, I've actually never been able to
find it...maybe in the right light it would be visible. I've knocked $100
off the price to compensate for this though...

Asking $1000 plus shipping through BikeFlights. Included are frame, fork,
headset, a set of Silver brakes, and a 100mm 1" salsa stem + spacers and
cap. I'm also happy to throw in a shim for use with a 1 1/8" stems. Here
are a few photos of the full bike:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/35128198@N02/albums/72157685462604685

And if you're interested, shoot me an email and I can take/send/post
specific shots...

Eric

[RBW] FS: 61cm A. Homer Hilsen

2014-10-04 Thread Noah Deuce
Hey folks,

My Hilsen has carried me many places, but now it's being called upon to
help me complete the last of the repairs from the flood damage I had here
in Boulder, Colorado (pro tip: don't buy a home one month and get flooded
the next). I bought this one in early 2009, so it has the expected
scratches and chips (but never crashed and also ways kept inside - also,
not flooded).

Pics: https://www.flickr.com/gp/noahdeuce/6hawP9/

The build is pretty fantastic:

Chris King rear hub, laced to a Hed Belgium C2+ rim (built in April of this
year; hub is from 2011, but it's been maintained by Excel Sports);
Shutter Precision generator front hub, also laced to a Belgium C2+ rim
(also built in April of this year; hub is from mid-2013);
BM Cyo Premium front light, attached at the crown;
Schwalbe Marathon Supremes with very few miles on them, 700x35;
Tektro R559 brakes;
Nitto two-bolt seat post;
Nitto Tallux stem;
Nitto Mustache handlebars;
Shimano Tiagra brake levers;
Silver shifter;
44t Salsa chainring (near new);
New Shimano XT 11-34 cassette;
SRAM X9 type two rear derailleur (no chain bouncing);
Shimano Tiagra compact double crankset;
Fairly new Planet Bike fenders.

Also, just in case you don't want to run a single ring setup, I'm including
new Shimano chainrings - 36t  46t (from a Shimano CX-70 crankset); a new
Shimano CX-70 front derailleur; and a second Silver shifter.

No saddle or pedals included.

Price is $1,750. If you don't pick it up, packing and shipping is $135 -
if it's more than that, I pay the difference; if it's less, I refund you
the difference.
