WrenchesAs a matter of practice, we always use conduite, never direct burial, 
always copper too, we have had AC and DC in the same trench but with space 
seperating the conduits and have had no issues with noise or JHA. As a safety 
issue we would not risk direct burial of high voltage DC regardless. Jerry

Also, you didn't specify, but AC and DC are specifically allowed in
the same raceway per 300.3(C)(1).  Only If the DC circuits are PV
source or output circuits, then 690.31(B) prevails, which says they
can't share a raceway.  But again, as Chris mentions, this
restriction does not apply to direct burial.

- Firstly, is this even *Code*-permissible?
