Re: [Repeater-Builder] Hamtronics Preamp part ID
That part number 2369E44 looks strangely like the end of a Motorola component part number. Usually they have 7 digits, a letter, and two more digits, but in this case the first 3 digits are missing. Some of the "M" series transistors are marked, for example, M9876, and the p/n is something like x98E76 or even xxx9876Exx, in other words, some of the "M" number is in the p/n. I don't recall what the prefix is for transistors (68 is for manuals); maybe it's one of their house numbers. Re: [Repeater-Builder] Hamtronics Preamp part ID
I don't know if this helps, but the Hamtronics R144 and R220 receiver used a 3N201 dual-gate FET for an RF amplifier just before the 3 section helical resonator. I wonder if it is the same part? 73, Joe, K1ike At 03:48 PM 12/11/2005 -0500, you wrote: >This transistor is in a Hamtronics Pre-Selector preamp from the 80's. Maybe it's a 2N2369? Re: [Repeater-Builder] Hamtronics Preamp part ID
Mike, I have tried that, and they nolonger have an instruction sheet for it. The manual listed is the newer one, not the one from the 80's. I thought they would still at least have something available. Spoke with them on the telephone and got nowhere... Re: [Repeater-Builder] Hamtronics Preamp part ID
Hi, Jim, figure out which one of the preamp/preselectors you have and then go to the Hamtronics web site and download the manual for it. The manuals are found on the bottom of the side-bar on the left of the web site. Hamtronics used mostly "Philips" brand of transistors, but, it depends on the particular Preselector/preamp you have. [Repeater-Builder] Hamtronics Preamp part ID
This transistor is in a Hamtronics Pre-Selector preamp from the 80's. The number on the top of the transistor is 2369E44. Anyone know what the correct part number is, or what it is? I have tried a Goggle search and have not came up with anything. Thanks, Jim, K8COP Yahoo!
