From what I understand the modules can probably be interchanged with the proper considerations, which include the cal/pcmcia loaded data supplied with the module when you buy it. The previously mentioned auction source is Amtronix in Lakewood, NY. (716) 763-9104 ask for Rick. He has and would know all the the specific information to upgrade your HP-8920 Service Monitor. cheers, skipp nj902 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: The spectrum analyzer was changed from option 002 to option 102 when the adjacent channel power feature was added [instruments with serial prefix 343xA and above, firmware A.11.04 and above] --- In Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com, kk2ed kk2ed@ wrote: Can anyone tell me the difference between the 102 spec analyzer option and the 01 or 02 (forget which is the SA) spec analyzer option? Normally I wouldn't post this type of thing here... but it might come in really handy for some of you. The $825 cost might seem a bit high... but man it's worth the money. The Seller is fluent on the Product and provides all the proper cal data. The seller is a really sharp guy, and a nice guy to boot. I bought one of my 8920B's from him, and recently sent a different one to him for a re-cal and CRT replacement. If you've shopped for service monitors or other used test equpment before, you can probably figure out who/what company this eBay'er is based on the eBay username and location. I (and probably Skipp too) are not saying their name because some eBay'ers prefer to remain quasi-anonymous for whatever reason. I have no affiliation with the person/company other than as a very satisfied customer. --- Jeff
