Likewise, for my 100W and 200W GE MASTR II cabinets - a GE1000 key. The BF10A 
worked in the mobiles and small GE cabinets.

Yep - keyed in the center, then pops out a twist handle to open the cabinet
door.  

BTW - the same key operates the lock on the rear door - not a twist handle
lock.

If worse comes to worse, you could always stick a screwdriver above the
hinge pin and see if you can depress it and release the door...  I never
push the spring-loaded toggle back against the door - just in case I forget
my keys!  :-)

Yes, it was indeed something like a vending machine lock - I just had never 
thought of it as such, but htat's a good description. It kinda pops out  when 
you unlock it, and you have to press it back in to lock it back up. Quite 
different than the small locks that require the BF10A key.
