*Background*

We have the opening  for the role of COE Expert Centre Senior Analyst
covering the technical areas of sales and financial tools and business
processes.  The role reports to the Demand Capability Manager and is
responsible for the support, development and implementation of strategic
TPM solutions within the segment.  The role will be based in Chicago.



*Purpose of the role*

The objective of the role is to deliver application support, development,
and deployment services for multiple SAP CRM TPM and ECC applications based
on SLA (Service Level Agreements) and project commitments. The role will
require strong understanding of SAP CRM and ECC functionality and how it is
used within the business for the Trade Promotion Management domain.



*The scope of the role encompasses:*

· Incident (ticket) Management - managing day to day application
issues including working with other internal teams to seek prompt resolution

· Hands-on SAP CRM TPM and ECC configuration and development based
on business requirements i.e. to address break-fixes or improve system
functionality

· CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) - perform hands-on system
changes or customizations to the system or application to improve usability
and deliver new functionality

· Deployment - partner with Business Partnership and perform
hands-on system changes to support solution deployments

· *Coding for SAP CRM  and ECC when required, in ABAP and OO ABAP*

· Knowledge of Bdocs and downloading data to CRM from ECC

· Problem Management - analyze, suggest and manage activities to
prevent reoccurrence of issues

· Change Management - plan and manage changes to SAP CRM and ECC
applications and / or systems

· User communication - ensure that user community is fully informed
of the service changes, outages etc.

· Escalation - escalate critical  issues to management or vendor
when appropriate

· Process improvements - regularly review and adjust team processes
to improve efficiency and knowledge management

· Knowledge Management - ensure that solutions and documentation
are up to date and shared with relevant audience

· Manage functional and technical developments through internal or
external contractors when required

· Develop and maintain network of business key users

· Communicate with business and MIS colleagues on a regular basis
to ensure a strong partnership with key stakeholders

· Review business users feedback and implement required improvements

· Regularly review system architecture and plan upgrades

· Reporting on service delivery, CIPs and project activities

· Ensure supported solutions are aligned with global requirements
with a strong governance model for template changes.



 *Mission Critical Competencies *

· Deep hands-on experience in the design, configuration and
delivery of SAP CRM TPM and ECC.

· Strong working knowledge of trade promotion management and
financial planning and budgeting processes and principles

· Creates collaborative relationships with customers/business
partners, Client IS service teams and business partnership peers

· Strong customer service skills and ability to relate to and
discuss topics and issues from a business and technical perspective

· Ability to stand alone and to appropriately challenge customers
and peers



*Key Technical Skills/Knowledge*

· *Deep experience of working in development and support of complex
SAP ECC and CRM TPM business software solutions with ABAP and OO  ABAP
coding skills.*

· Debugging across SAP systems ( CRM to ECC , CRM to BW)

· A minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP CRM TPM and ECC
configuration and development obtained through project implementation work,
support and/or development experiences

· Strong working knowledge of Trade Promotion Management processes
and the related workstreams including Finance, Demand Planning, Sales and
Marketing.

· Excellent knowledge of the system and process integration touch
points within the SAP TPM landscape

· SAP CRM TPM knowledge is a must

· Ability to translate business needs and opportunities into system
or process solutions within SAP CRM TPM

· Perspective and judgement in making decisions, i.e. the ability
