• A minimum of 7 years of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain
Management(FSCM) functional system support/upgrade/implementation experience

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years Experience with PeopleSoft Financials v 9.1 is a
must…

• Expert level experience with at least three of PeopleSoft Financials
modules such as AM, AP, EX, AR, PC,BI, GL, PO, ePro, and an advanced
understanding of the interactions and purposes of the entire Financials
suite…

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a Financials functional
lead role

• 1 -2 years of experience in configuring and maintaining workflow(AWE) and
notifications

• Good communication and inter personal skills



Job duties/responsibilities including but not limited to:



• Create User Requirements, functional Specification and functional design
documents.

• Document current state / future state systems processes.

• Elicit end user business requirements and accurately translate/
incorporate into base system design documentation.

• Analyze and document new features available in Feature packs/Bundles from
Peoplesoft minor releases...

• Provide evaluation of and/or coordinate any proposed changes to
application

• Insure proper issue identification, assess and validate customer impact,
determine if technical support is required for quick fix and permanent
countermeasure(s) and facilitate this process using the appropriate tools
and reports

• Assist in application troubleshooting and root cause Analysis for
identified issues relating to systems

• Create test scenarios and data that can be used to confirm quality of
system changes, coordinates testing with other module leads or process
areas, including end users, and document/report test results

• Develop and maintain PeopleSoft queries and nVision reports

• Independently leads teams and projects of small to moderate size and
complexity plans, coordinates and executes according to requirements (intra
 inter-departmental)

• Create status reports and communicate issues to Project Management team

*Position Title* – PeopleSoft Financial Functional Analyst

*Description*

Incumbent works at the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s
(IFSSA) central office and serves as a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst,
performng system administration activities, and reports to  Deputy Director
or higher level staff within the Office of Administrative Services.  The
incumbent is responsible for the accountable processing involving procuring
of goods and services, accounting for fixed assets, the processing of claims
and disbursement of funds to employees, grantees, vendors, landlords, and
other service providers.



*Responsibilities*

Responsible for maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer
software and its components;



Provides resolutions to technical problems;



Responsible for testing, debugging, and documentation of system software
upgrades and new releases;



Creates and develops learning tools, including but not limited to guides,
job aids and internet-based training tools (Oracle UPK);



Mentors and provides guidance to new and lower level staff;



May be responsible for quality assurance review of system software;



Evaluates new and existing PeopleSoft modules and other software products;



May perform as team lead in assigned area;



May oversee multiple projects or project phases;



Administer end-user access and security;



Develop innovative procedures and methods through understanding of product
capabilities, and utilizes those capabilities in unique ways, to fully use
products on the system and meet user's goals and objectives;



Assists management with short/long-range planning for hardware and software
changes and additions, and prepares reports which assist management in
understainding the current hardware/software conditions, performance and
future trends:

Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of public accounting and
auditing;



Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws, policies and procedures as
they pertain to auditing, accounting, claims disbursement, payroll, fixed
assets and bookkeeping;



Thorough knowledge of information PeopleSoft Financials;



Extensive knowledge of agency programs and their interaction with the
Finance Division;



Specialized knowledge of automated claims systems; ENCOMPASS and CMS;



Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with
other information technology support staff;



Ability to solve complex problems;



Thorough knowledge of maintenance, configuration of system software and
relational databases;



Thorough knowledge in the use of tools and utilities to perform the system
work;



Thorough knowledge to test, debug, and document system software components;



Ability to plan and conduct professional and complex research;



Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workflow;



Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;



Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff at all levels;



Ability to analyze, communicate and recommend future needs and direction for
agency's financial software environment.
