Our client, a global investment bank is looking for a senior developer to
augment their current team.

The project involves using  .NET (primarily web based asp.net and some C#)
Oracle and Java for Capital Markets Technology to build new reports and
features as well as enhance existing reports for the Business Intelligence
Platform.

Financial services experience is highly desired.


Work includes:

   - Create the web application’s user interface for report criteria
   screens.
   - Write SQL queries for use in report generation.
   - Enhance the existing framework components.
   - Modify and make changes to existing reports.
   - Performance tune SQL queries and optimize the reports.

*Skills*

C# (ASP.Net), SQL

Pluses: Oracle, financial services, core Java

· The candidate for this position must be at an expert level and
possess six (6) or more years of experience with the installation,
configuration, and operational support of WebLogic 11g Application Server

· Expert in Apache installation, configuration, and administration

· Basic understanding of at least 2 of the following application
servers, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Resin Application Server

· The ability to make influential recommendations and decisions on
web engineering activities within several environments across multiple
clients while working closely with the customer and internal technical teams

· Ability to create and modify Unix shell scripts to automate
repeatable tasks

· Basic understanding of Oracle 9i–10g-11g RAC, switches, routers,
firewalls, and load balancers

· Application monitoring and tuning

· Basic RedHat Linux system administration

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Desired skills*

· J2EE development for enterprise level applications

· Experience with installation and configuration of Oracle SOA Suite
and Oracle Service Bus

· Actuate, Cognos, Interwoven, Repliweb,  Control-M experience
highly desired

· Strong Shell scripting, Python/Jython, and Perl programming
experience

· Wily Introscope/Precise I3 knowledge is a plus

· Expert understanding of 2 or more of the following application
servers, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Resin Application Server, and
PHP



*Education or Equivalent Experience*

· Preferred Four year college degree or equivalent experience

· 6+ years’ experience administering WebLogic Application Server
