I know someone at google (who has nothing todo with googleearth) and I
can ask him to put me into contact with someone who can make a decision
about giving us redistribution permission.
I must say it would be cool to have googleearth packaged up, last time I
checked it needed some fixing to work on Fedora (some selinux context
stuff),
and it would be nice to offer a good out of the box experience.

This seems still ge4. have you tried with ge5 ?
libssl.so.0.9.8{g,k} is present in F-10 F-11, but it shouldn't matter
as the real SONAME for this library is libssl.so.7.

Last time I've checked, Ville Skytta did some experiments, maybe they still remain on his personal repository. Once that said, having a nosource rpm package redistributed by rpmfusion would be awesome. As the same with the flash-plugin, we could eventually redistribute such nosource rpm within the SRPM rpmfusion_nonfre repository.
