[rt-users] Slow RT 3.8.2 GUI through SPARC/Solaris Firefox 3?

2009-01-22 Thread Kim Flowers (Mr.)
Has anyone else had performance issues using the RT (3.8.2)
GUI through the Firefox 3.x browser running on SPARC/Solaris?

Some of our users have reported that they have extreme
performance issues with this configuration (30 secs waiting
for a ticket page redraw). We thought it might be a network
issue (they are accessing the RT site remotely), but they
have no problems using either Firefox 2.x or Firefox on
Linux (2.x or 3.x).

[rt-users] Getting word wrap in Ticket GUI history elements

2009-01-14 Thread Kim Flowers (Mr.)
We're running RT 3.8.2

I've got a request from some of my users to get the
text that is stored displayed in the history
area of each ticket (when they are viewing the
Ticket via the GUI) to wrap depending on the
width of their browser window.

In other words, right now emails/comments/correspondence
which is displayed in the history for each ticket is
displayed without wrap (unless you click on the
Download link for that message get the text version
of it).

The users want the text in those boxes to wrap around
when the browser window is too small to display complete
lines, even if the result destroys the email formatting.

Is there a configuration option or a simple edit which
can be done to accomplish this?

Thanks,
