Hi Dirk

I'm happy to talk about this more, if you like, but would rather not do it on
the listserv

Feel free to reach out to me directly

I suppose it's "stand-alone"?
While what I propose is a service that integrates with Servers Alive, you use
all alerting and output feature of Servers Alive.

For that $100 from how many locations are the checks done?

Hi Dirk

We currently use a similar service, and would be interested to see how your
approach pans out. We currently pay about $100/year, so it would have to
compete price-wise. Also, a feature that our current solution has that is
important for us is the reporting. Nice, clean, simple reports that can be
added to reports to management etc, are important. And for latency, west coast
US or thereabouts would be needed for us.

Your "personal" Servers Alive instance running on your network would connect to
the cloud-service and use that for some checks.

The build-in web server server gives you the possibily to "host" the result of
the checks.
The service I'm talking about will give you the possibility to check from an
outside location while now all checks are done from within the internal network.

This service will allow you to monitor a host from the internet, that way you
