Overview:

Our client, a large healthcare services firm, is seeking an ETL Developer
with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio to perform medium
complexity (i.e. application modules) analysis, design, development and
unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design
documents. The candidate will perform ongoing support of the existing
applications and any new applications.

*Primary Responsibilities:*

•Provide high quality technology solutions that address business
needs by developing applications within mature technology environments.

•Participate in project planning sessions with project managers,
business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and
outline the proposed IT solution.

•Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design
recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide
input to information/data flow, and understand and comply with Project Life
Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.

•Read and understand business requirements, write functional

test application code.

In this role, you will help to develop application design and/or design IT

We are looking for someone to perform data and requirements analysis (file
layouts, report requirements, data relationships, hierarchies, aggregation,
etc.) 

- Fully define required data elements (size, domain of acceptable values,
nullability, etc.) 

- Translate analysis results into logical data models, 

- Work with System/Application Architect to tune data model, determine
appropriate disk configuration, partitioning and indexing strategies, etc. 

- Design, develop, test, performance tune and deploy Ab Initio graphs 

- Conform Ab Initio procedures to client standards 

- support quality assurance and user acceptance test activities

 

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years experience in Data Management 
Architecture Solution Architecture.
