be able to work a flexible daily schedule including late evening or early

· It is desirable for applicants to have recent engineering
experience designing engine installations and cooling systems using 3D
modeling software, particularly Pro/E.

· Also desirable is two or more years of recent experience
designing for heavy duty mobile equipment, including hands-on experience.

*Description:*

Collaborate with a team of developers creating Java Applications and API's
supporting the Customer's Telematics service layer. Responsible for
application design, development, and unit testing of Java code. Work with a
development team and other infrastructure specialist such as data
architects and web developers. Experiance with RESTfull webserivices and
Struts are required.

*Summary:*

*Summary: *Develop, create, and modify general computer applications
software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages
considered. Responsible for designing software or customizing software for
client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

 *Education/Experience:* Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
training preferred. 3-5 years related experience required. Skills and
Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving
skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of computer hardware and
software. Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in
production of drawings and models. Knowledge of niche computer software,
such as Oracle, CSharp.net, Lawson, etc.

*Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:* Modify existing software to
correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its
performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine
feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Coordinate software
system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure
specifications are met. Design, develop and modify software systems, using
scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome
and consequences of design.
