[sdre-l]: new album artwork
I just got the new album yesterday. I think it's great, except for "Television," that song bugs me. However... Does anyone else think it kinda sucks that there's pictures of the band all over the booklet? I thought the coolest thing about the three earlier albums was the lack of photos, giving the band an anonymous feel where you weren't concerned with what the members looked like. This whole "new thing" they're going for... Geez, they might as well put on signs that say "Mainstream, Embrace Us!" I'm not gonna bitch like other people on this list would about them wanting more exposure, but it's still just a little, um, odd. from Charlie Wagner | AOLIMSN = themadlord np: Deftones, "White Pony" band = http://theoryband.tripod.com reviews = http://scientificreviews.tripod.com/ "Music should punch through the small of your back, grab your spine, and shake hello." - Pitchforkmedia.com Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

hey listers, this is the last call for people who haven't answered my poll yet... the Q again: What is your fav sdre song off each album? (only one please) (you can include the live album if you so desire) send a seperate email to my address with your response... later, skinnyness p.s. hey rodeo jones...when we were chating on the official site the other night i wasn't paying attention to what was going on around me and it cost me a huge white sdre (rising tide) poster...i was sooo pissed...it's on my cousins wall now instead of mine...i'm thinking about beating him up!
Re: [sdre-l]: Some questions....
A coupole friends and I were talking with Jeremy before the Minneapolis show and asked him about lyrical inspiration, etc. He mentioned stuff about girlfriends and all that. So.I'd doubt if he's either married OR gay. -B At 02:20 PM 06/30/2000 -0400, you wrote: On Fri, 30 Jun 2000, Bruce Labbate wrote: 3) What are the band member's status for wives and kids? Dan's married, and I seem to remember something happening with regards to Jeremy, recently ... Hrm. An addendum.. Someone posted earlier on the list and said at a show Jeremy said he was "pregnant," which was either a joke, or maybe he has a wife that is pregnant? Although there seems to be a lot of chatter in places about Jeremy being gay, which I think is just silly speculation and should be ignored (so, like, you didn't see me say that).
[sdre-l]: Cleveland Show...
Is anyone planning on taping tonight? If so...reserve me a copy please. thanks, Ken
Re: [sdre-l]: new album artwork
I, also, was a bit disappointed at the lack of artwork, not that I mind having pictures of the band in the booklets, but I liked the artwork that they had used for Diary and HIFTBSO (especially HIFTBSO)... It's probably not SDRE, it's probably Time Bomb concerned with selling records. Oh well, I love every one of their songs, I can stand them getting exposure.
