I think he meant that both bands are a 3 piece in the studio. The foo's use chris shifflet on tour for guitar, and sdre added an extra guy to play keyboard/guitar/backup vocals, but they still only use 3 for making albums (at least so far). So the connection's still there...

I'm pretty sure they dropped Chris. I know he was in the I'll Stick Around video, I'm pretty sure he was in the Big Me video. I can't remember if they had a video for This is a Call. i believe jeremy was using a Vox amp, dan was using a Matchless, and i think i saw an Ampeg for bass. sorry if i'm wrong. guitars, i remember the SG, and i think a few les pauls? hope this helps. jason
