I answered this before (early December), as quoted below.
Maybe you didn’t see it?
Or maybe you want some other options?
Anyway, here is what we do:

You really need a separate whole house filter, drinking water filter, and
shower filter. That way, your drinking water and shower water are actually
double filtered. These are the ones we use and they are terrific, especially
the drinking water filter:

Re: CSWhole House Water Filter

2013-01-06 Thread Del
If you are only concerned about drinking water, the Multipure under sink filter
is enough by itself.
If you are also concerned about shower water, the Aqua Sana shower filter is
very good and lasts about six months if you don’t have a whole house filter.
With a whole house filter also in place, the shower filter easily lasts for a
year.
The whole house filter takes care of bath water and all other watering needs,
including plants.
Depending on your total water usage, the whole house filter is good for about
five years before you need to change the activated charcoal.

So I hit the ixquick.com Deep 'n' Private Search Engine with the terms, [ buy

which the Nextag listing seems most promising of the bunch; eBay apparently
comes in a close second (tonight).

Those results should duplicate well for others using that engine (not Google

Re: CSCalculate amount of grams in a 10ppm 45ml dose please?

2013-01-06 Thread Dan Nave
Alex,

Read what I said, and pay attention to the decimal points. The daily
allowance is 1 MILLIGRAM, not 1 GRAM. You could drink 1/10th of a
liter of 10ppm colloidal silver for your 70Kg body. That is 100 grams
of the 10ppm colloidal silver. That's basically what I said earlier,
but I did not round off the numbers.

Marshall did not say anything different than I did, but he either did
not read what I wrote or wanted to use different units. Look up
MILLI, MICRO, NANO, and PICO on Wikipedia, or something like that.

1 gram is the same thing as 1000 milligrams.

Dan

 Marshall...

So if 45ml (which as you say is mroe or less 45 grams of water) with 10ppm
concentration of silver.. the amount would be 450 mcg right?

So that means that 1 gram = 1,000,000 mcg .. so...

Conclusion is that 45ml of 10ppm colloidal silver isnt even 0.01% close to
the 1 gram per day epa limit?

That doesnt make sense to me.

 Alex

On 01/05/2013 05:06 PM, Marshall wrote:

That would be 45 grams of water, and 10 ppm is 10 millions of that, so the
amount of silver would be 450 ug.

The liquid would be colloidal silver at 10ppm.
