If you are only concerned about drinking water, the Multipure under sink filter is enough by itself. If you are also concerned about shower water, the Aqua Sana shower filter is very good and lasts about six months if you don’t have a whole house filter. With a whole house filter also in place, the shower filter easily lasts for a year. The whole house filter takes care of bath water and all other watering needs, including plants. Depending on your total water usage, the whole house filter is good for about five years before you need to change the activated charcoal.
