RaVen... good idea. I have been a fan and user of castor oil packs for over
thirty years. Jeff, they
can be placed over your wife's lower abdomen area for an hour or so a few times
per week. Theyare very healing, soothing and they help to optimize immune
function as a bonus. www.baar has castor oil kits that can be purchased but one
can put together one's own kit veryinexpensively. The hardest 'find' is the
pure, wool flannel. I have some packs that I have usedfor years. ...lol..
Just keep them in a ziplock bag and don't wash 'em or share.Lola

Hi Shirley, I've been taking 5 drops of nascent iodine per day lately as I am
hypothyroid. I used to take more then stopped because I read somewhere that it
can make hypothyroidism worse. I decided to ignore this as I am on
Levothyroxin and wasn't feeling any better. I decided on the nascent form
because it is supposed to be more bioavailable. Any thoughts on this? Dee

Re: CS>Bicarb - OT

2015-11-13 Thread Frank Cuns-Rial
Hi friends The reaction occurs regardless of the temperature but the
colder the reactants the slower it proceeds.
The gas is generated on both instances but gases are more soluble the
colder the temperature.

I don't know. This is the acid that is formed from fermenting foods.
Sometimes they get a little too acidic and I add a bit of bicarb. I
noticed if they are cold, no reaction. If they are warm then a reaction.
Thanks.

Not sure if this is the reason, but most acid is diluted with water and
cold water will absorb the CO2 from the reaction and just become carbonated.

Hi,
Can anyone explain why bicarb fizzes when put into a room temperature
acid but not when put into a cold one? Thanks.
